Use of the calculator

The salary calculator is provided free of charge for personal, informational use. It estimates your net salary in Bahraini Dinars (BHD) after employee SIO contributions, using published 2026 SIO rates — 8% employee contribution for Bahraini nationals and 1% for non-GCC expat employees — plus employer cost and end-of-service estimates where shown.

Accuracy of results

The calculator is built on the SIO’s published 2026 rates, which we keep updated. Its results are estimates only, not financial, tax, or legal advice. SIO rates, caps, and rules change (Bahrain reviews contribution rates periodically, typically each January), and your actual payslip may differ because of company-specific allowances, other deductions, or contract terms. Always confirm final figures with your employer or the Social Insurance Organization (sio.gov.bh).
